Jaipur Travel Guide – A Cultural Place to Visit!

Jaipur Travel Guide, Jaipur (The Pink City) is the capital city of Rajasthan. It is a cultural city having great places to visit. The city is a combination of both cultural and westernized lifestyle.

It was about my 2 weeks off, and I was worried about what I will do in these 2 days rather than getting bored at home in the room. So when I was about to sleep on Friday night, an idea stuck in mind to visit my city’s attraction in these 2 weeks off.

Jaipur Travel Guide

I thought to call my friends in these week offs to have fun, but they were not ready at all, so I thought to make the plan alone.

I started to plan for Saturday what I will do on Saturday. My planning for the week off is ready to implement. The execution of the plan is just 1 night away.

Now the week off day started, and I packed my bag with some necessary stuff so that I will not face any issue in between the travel. So here I am on for the trip, so my Jaipur travel guide started.

I have taken a car on rent because I have so many plans to execute today, and retaking cabs can make my little trip a bit hectic. So hiring a car will be the best option for me to make my trip convenient.

Chandpole

Jaipur Travel Guide, the trip was initiated with Chandpole. Chandpole Bazar has something in it. It offers a refreshing glimpse of the pink city to the tourists. Here one can get in touch with the colorful culture of India.

There is an ancient temple of Hanuman Ji situated, which is precious for Jaipur also. I started my day with the blessing of God by visiting there.

The vibes were so positive there. Fortunately, the day was also not so hot. The weather is very calm and healthy, which is quite good for planning the trip.

Choti Chopad

Choti Chopad Jaipur Travel Guide

Jaipur Travel Guide, After taking blessings from Hanuman Ji, it is time to undergo the traditional properties. Choti Chopad is nearby Chandpole, and I planned my trip also according to the way. In Choti Chopad, I went to the shops where I found ethnic wears there.

In the shops, clothes were so traditional, the amazing handicrafts, antiques, and other cultural things were there. These all amazing things made my Jaipur travel blog more interesting.

Badi Chopad

Badi Chopad is nearby the Choti Chopad where many tourist attractions are situated. According to my plan, I went there. In Badi Chopad, there are many things over there to visit, which are:

Hawa Mahal

The architecture of this monument is as mesmerizing as it grabs everyone’s attention.  There are 953 windows in Hawa Mahal, and the cold winds across from those windows make me feel the touch of nature.

Govind Ji Temple

Jaipur Travel Guide, After visiting Hawa Mahal, I went to the Govind Ji Temple. The temple is famous in Jaipur for its architecture.

The temple is located nearby the city Palace and is also very beautiful. Not only the Indians but also the foreigners also visit the place of full excitement.

Govind dev ji Temple

Even the foreigners are more interested in these traditional and cultural places as compared to the Indians. The Temple is full of gatherings, and everyone is taking blessings from God. It was so decent to feel the cultures of India over here.

On that day, it could not visit the morning aarti, but the aarti is so gentle that everyone feels confident. When I was sitting in the temple, I felt peace of mind and eternal pleasure.

The Indians need to pay 190 INR per head to visit the place, and the foreigners, charge 500 INR per head. Palace was built in Mughal architecture.

The palace looks very complex due to the different mahals including “Chandra Mahal” and “Mubarak Mahal” and many other buildings with courtyards.

The “Chandra Mahal” has turned into a museum that involves historical and unique things. The handicrafts look so amazing. The architecture of the place is built according to the Mughal, Rajput, and European styles.

This place’s royal heritage made me explore the place much more, but as I didn’t have enough because my visiting list is still pending, I had to move from the place after 45 minutes.

Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar jaipur

Jaipur Travel Guide, When I got done with the city palace, it is about noon. In visiting different places, I forgot about having my meal. At that time, I was feeling very much famished. I saw different stalls and restaurants there.

So first I went to a restaurant to have my meal. The food was too good. It was a little bit spicy, but the taste was so delicious as I could not leave a single bite on my plate when I got done.

And now I entered Jantar Mantar. For entering Jantar Mantar also, there are entry fee charges. If you pre-planned the trip, tickets can also be purchased from the online platform.

I made my plan last night, so I forgot to purchase an entrance ticket. I bought the entrance tickets from the entry gate. In Jantar Mantar, there were light and sound shows for which the tickets must also join the shows.

If planning to visit Jantar Mantar for the first time, make sure to take guidance as the place is full of science.

Even though audio guides are also available, which help navigate the path and give the background of astronomy? I didn’t need the guide as I am a resident of Jaipur, so I am going through these things fewer times.

When to visit?

If you do not have further plans to visit, then mid-day is the most advisable time to visit Jantar Mantar. At that particular time period, the sun will be on the head, and sightseeing will be as beautiful as this will give you a pleasant environment. You can also read Jaipur street food.

In the fort, there are so many structures such as temples, ancient paintings, and sculptures, and many more things are there to visit. From the top of the Nahargarh Fort, it was an ultimate scene.

I felt like I am on the top of Jaipur. It was so fascinating for me; I was supposed to scroll down every history of the fort and Jaipur as well.

Jaigarh Fort architecture of the place was royal and had a great interior made in the fort. The canon of Jaivana is the main attraction of the fort.

Not only the architects but there are also many other things situated that make me feel much better. My day is spent with full coverage of historical background today.

Amer Fort

amber fort jaipur travel guide

Jaipur Travel Guide, Before entering Amer fort, I was fully famished and needed some eatables to have. There were stalls situated outside the Amer Fort, so I thought to make my tour of Amer fort better. Now I am fully energized to roam around the fort.

Amer Fort is the biggest Fort in Jaipur made by Sawai Jai Singh. It is the native place of Harku Bai. When I entered the fort, I felt the vibes of Raja Maharaja there. On one side, there is a river, and a lawn on the opposite side for resting, and tourists’ leisure time.

Amber Fort offers me an idea of thinking about how rich the culture, heritage, and architecture of India. I found the tourists were enjoying the ride of elephants climbing on the fort.

The area is so hassled; there were so many shops where one can find different traditional properties. The shopkeepers were selling beautiful umbrellas with colourful embroidery and mirror work.

The first thing I saw in the fort was the “Sheesh Mahal”, which was constructed with small mirrors. The Sheesh Mahal was facing a beautiful and natural garden maintained by Rajasthan Tourism.

The fort itself describes its history. Further on, I moved from Sheesh Mahal, there was a huge gate made with the architecture done by man itself called “Hastkala”. In the “Rajasthali” over there, I found so many handicrafts.

All the nature of the fort attracted my attention and represents the strong history of India. There was a corridor built with royal finishes looks blue and white. It was so mesmerizing; I couldn’t be able to stop myself from clicking pictures.

We can feel and take an idea about how much the architectures and constructors put effort into making the fort. Now I came up to the top of the fort, just like I was at the top of Jaipur.

amber fort picture

I saw the puppet show; It was quite interesting and eye-catching. Even in the fort, there was a Café Coffee Day (CCD) where people were chilling and spent quality time chatting.

The fort was so big that it might make you tired, and there were small benches where one could rest. The path is a little bit confusing, so some guide you on the path.
