It is known that Lord Krishna had visited this temple every year by his devotees.

There I had heard from the locals that the idol of the temple was brought from Vrindavan to Jaipur by Raja Sawai Singh 2.
When the statue of the idol was completed then it only the feet of the statue resembled Lord Krishna, and therefore the idol is known as MadanMohanji.
And then it was decided to make another perfect idol another statue was created.
Also, that statue was looking similar from the chest part like Lord Krishna, and therefore the name was called Gopinathji.
Moreover, the third one was named Govind Dev Ji Temple because the face of the statue was looking similar to Lord Krishna. So this was the better idol which was carried by Sawai Sing 2 to Jaipur.

There I found several natural kinds or water tanks inside the temple.
Moreover, GaltaKund is regarded as the holiest Kund because according to the locals this is the only water tank inside the temple which never goes dry.
During Makar Sanskriti, many of the tourists are attracted to visit and douse in this kind because it resembles the symbol of good fortune if someone is doing this.
There I had also found many monkeys which are quite friendly with tourists and even you can feed them.
