Most gorgeous US spots you can visit in your RV

Boyne Falls, Michigan

Michigan is one of the US states with gorgeous winter sites, making Boyne Falls a perfect place to visit if you love winter activities.

Nearby East Jordan Tourist Park Campground welcomes RVs all year round and is just a short drive from popular ski resort Boyne Mountain in nearby Boyne Falls.

Additionally, the Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park is a terrific option for families with young children who need to warm up from the cold after a long day of fun winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, or simply making a snowman!

Gulf Breeze RV Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Gulf Shores

If you’re someone who’d like to spend their winter somewhere warm, this is a location to look into. The Gulf Coast of Alabama is a fantastic place to escape the cold of northern winters.

A perfectly white beach will look gorgeous on your Instagram feed, and the most beautiful wetland paths you can hike on. Canoeing and birdwatching are always in store for tourists.

You can relax at one of the local bars or seafood restaurants that serve the region’s prized Royal Red shrimp in the evening. While we’re on the subject of camping, hiking, and canoeing, here you can find some of the best RV campsites in winter

There are over 250 RV sites with full hookups, WiFi, and cable TV. For those who love to swim in the pools, indoor and outdoor pools are available at the resort.

It’s a great place to catch some fish, hire a paddleboat, or simply take in the scenery. The resort is pet-friendly and accessible to those with disabilities.

Liberty Harbour Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Though some RV enthusiasts love to spend their time in nature, some enjoy exploring cities. If you love to enjoy all that Jersey City has to offer as well as nearby New York which is only 15 minutes away by ferry, this is an amazing option for spending your winter holidays.

This RV park at Liberty Harbor Marina hosts guests all year round!  Go sightseeing around the big apple and skate in the iconic rink at Rockefeller Center beneath the giant Christmas tree.

Stroll through the snow-covered Central Park in New York City and explore all the wonders of the always busy Manhattan. You don’t have to worry about being cold at this RV park since there are hot showers available at each of the 50 sites.

Sea and Sand RV Park, Oregon Coast, Oregon

Going all the way west, this park is one of the gorgeous US spots to spend your winter vacation. RVers may visit the Oregon Coast at any time of year.

However, winter is a terrific time of year to see whales migrating south along the coast as they make their way to warmer waters in Mexico. They’ll enjoy seeing these giants gracefully gliding through the ocean if you have kids.

Sea and Sand RV Park is the ideal home base on the Central Coast, only a short drive between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay. You can choose your campsite based on your affinities. You can camp at the terraced seaside if you love the seaside more, while those who love greenery will enjoy the more secluded wooded campsites.

There are also hillside campsites available at the park, making for over 109 total RV spots. There are complete hookups, cable TV, and free WiFi at each site.

The price depends on the season and the overall availability of the spots, so make sure to check their website for more information.

Jekyll Island Campground, Georgia

Jekyll Island, Georgia, situated midway between Jacksonville, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia, is the place to go if you don’t like extreme weather.

Even during the peak of the winter season in December, you’ll have no lack of outdoor activities to choose from. There are multiple nearby beaches, bike lanes, and salt marshes for kayaking. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center and the Mosaic are also a must-see.

All the campsites have a full hook-up. If you don’t have space in your RV to bring your own bike with you, you’ll love the fact that you can rent a bike on-site and cycle through the gorgeous island.

Wi-fi connection is also offered, as well as the laundromat. The camp is open all year round, making it a perfect spot for a winter getaway!

Leavenworth RV Campground, Washington

If you’re looking for a picturesque winter adventure, Leavenworth in Washington state may be the best option! Fun winter activities such as sledding and tubing are what make this place special.

You can go cross country skiing and snowmobiling without getting too far from the camp! Over 200 miles of groomed trails are only a short distance from the campsite.

Stevens Pass Ski Resort is just around 30 miles away. There you can go skiing and ice fishing on a neighboring lake. If you’d like to experience some culture, don’t miss out on Leavenworth’s Bavarian Village, with its German restaurants, festivals, and architecture.

Furthermore, hiking in the great outdoors is truly one of the upsides of this camp!

Full hookups are offered at the campground and RV facilities. There’s a hallway game room in a clubhouse at the site, which will make your winter evenings more exciting.

There you can mingle with other RVers and meet some new lifelong friends. Also, the facilities for doing laundry are at your disposal.
