It was built about 200 years ago by Hathi and Nathmal brothers. They were good at making beautiful things. The king ordered them to create this haveli, and they did it. 

Even though they were not architects, they used their creativity to make the haveli look great. They used many detailed carvings, fancy balconies, and windows. One interesting thing is that the left and right sides of the house look different from each other. People say it is because the brothers did not know much about design, making the place even more special.
