Jharkhand Mahadev Mandir History:

This temple was not like it looks today. Construction of the temple was underway in 1918. At that time, there was only one small room. That means there was a Shivalinga covered by walls on all sides. At that time, it was left like this. Later, in the year 2000, when it came to renovating the temple, it was given a new look. This new design was made like that of the temples of the South.

The outer part of this temple is exactly like the temples of the South. The temple’s main gate and sanctum sanctorum will look like the temples of the North. However, a tree has come between the gate and the sanctum sanctorum, so there is a slight difference between these two.

People are often forced to consider the design of the Jharkhand Mahadev Temple. Why does it look like a Tiruchirapalli temple despite being located in Rajasthan? There is a big reason behind this. Actually, in the year 2000, this temple was being rebuilt, so its responsibility was given to the Trust Chairman Jai Prakash Somani.

Somani often used to go on tours to South India. He liked the temples there very much. Therefore, Somani thought, “Why not give the same look to the Jharkhand temple?”  Then, Somani asked around 300 skilled workers from the South to come and build the temple.
